The system consists of one rail, two foot-stops, a tripod mount and a carriage. The rail is fabricated from aluminium with two steel shafts upon which the bearings run. The rail is available in standard lengths of 600, 900 or 1200mm. We can also offer bespoke lengths upon request.
The aluminium carriage (95 x 65mm) contains a total of four bearings with two running on either side of the rail. A standard 1/4" screw in the centre of the carriage allows a camera, video camera or tripod head to be connected using an allen key (supplied).
The foot-stops are fabricated from aluminium and rubber. They act as feet and also stop the carriage from sliding off the rail. They are clamped to the underside of the rail using two thumbscrews and can be positioned anywhere along the rail.
The tripod mount is an aluminium block which clamps to the underside of the rail using two thumbscrews. The block has a 1/4" threaded hole in its centre so that it can be fixed to the top of a tripod. |
