LINEAR TRACK GUIDANCE
- OPEN CARRIAGE
In this linear motion system, the carriages are of a compact and low design. As with the closed carriage, the bearings are installed with two concentric spigots and two eccentric spigots, which means a running clearance or light pre-load can be obtained by simple adjustment.
The carriage is made from aluminium and then anodised. The track roller bearings are available in either carbon chrome steel or stainless steel. For a corrosion resistant system, specify part number OW..E050.
If the carriages are to be loaded to more than 70% of their maximum load, it is recommended that the rail bolt spacing is reduced to t/2.
Both the OW54 and OW64 carriages run on the S54 track.
