APPLICATION & DESIGN EXAMPLE (COMPACT TELESCOPIC SLIDE)

An interesting use of combined roller bearings and mating steel profiles to create a compact telescopic sliding arrangement.

Mounting plates have been used to fix the bearings and the plates are adjustable to help take up axial "play". It is more common to use adjustable bearings for this, but here it is a neat solution as the bearings cannot be accessed easily.
