APPLICATION & DESIGN EXAMPLE (PALLET BREAKER)
CASE STUDY
An environmentally friendly story... One of our customers owns a
pallet breaking yard and developed a machine to break wooden pallets quickly
and neatly so that the timber could be recycled (note that key environment
friendly word!). He chose our combined roller bearings running in a standard
fork truck mast channel to take the heavy loads involved. He is now selling
his machine to other pallet recyclers.
This case study also demonstrates clearly how combined roller bearings have a multitude of uses in the heavy duty linear motion field. We have customers using these components to build transfer lines for conveyor systems, to guide pallets and to stack product off the end of a production line. We also supply the steel section mating exactly to the bearing profiles that we supply, thus reducing the design time, ordering time and a lot of guess work.
It is no problem to us to work on a converse basis and make a bearing to fit into a steel section that you may already have designed into a job. Please send drawings and/or samples so that we might quote you.
